Solid oak boardroom and meeting tables across two offices, dulled by years of general-purpose spray polish that had built up into a cloudy film.

The film had to come off before anything else could be done — silicone polish and oak do not mix, and it is what causes the patchy look under overhead lighting.

Stripping and re-oiling

Surfaces were cleaned back with a solvent, allowed to dry fully, then treated with a hard-wax oil in two thin coats. The grain came back immediately.

Maintenance

A damp microfibre cloth and nothing else. We left the client with written care notes, because the wrong product undoes a year of work in one wipe.
