Vacuuming lifts what sits on the surface. It does not reach the dirt that has worked its way down to the base of the pile, which is where grit, dust mites and allergens collect — and where carpets start to look flat and grey.

We use hot-water extraction: a cleaning solution is worked into the fibre, then lifted out under pressure along with the soil it has released. It is the method carpet manufacturers themselves recommend, and it leaves none of the sticky residue that dry foams can.

Stains and odours

Pet accidents, wine, coffee and ink are treated individually before the main clean, with a product matched to both the stain and the fibre. We will always tell you honestly when a mark is permanent rather than promise a result we cannot deliver.

Drying time

Carpets are damp rather than wet when we finish, and are usually walkable in two to four hours depending on ventilation and pile depth. We can bring air movers if you need the room back sooner.
